EM Outflows are Spiking

Since the start of 2018, outflows have outweighed inflows but, since July of this year, investor sentiment has deteriorated notably in response to the threat of fresh tariffs on Chinese goods and softening economic data. Investor flows have fallen sharply in lockstep with falling equity prices.
